Best Practices for
Creating Strong Passwords
Make it complex
Incorporate a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters (!, @, #, $, etc.) to increase the complexity of your password.
Use at least 10 characters
The longer your password, the harder it is to crack. Aim for a minimum length of 10 characters, but consider going even longer for added security.
Don’t reuse passwords
If a hacker gains access to one of your accounts where you've reused a password, they can potentially access all other accounts with the same credentials.
Avoid common words or phrases
Avoid using easily guessable words, phrases, or personal information (such as your name, birthdate, or common dictionary words) in your password. Hackers often use automated tools that can quickly guess these types of passwords.
